Frequently Asked Questions

The Wellsboro Comic Con is taking place over many different venues all within easy walking distance: The Deane Center for the Performing Arts, the Warehouse Theatre Lobby, Saint Paul's Episcopal Church Hall, plus programs and vendors on the Wellsboro Green, Central Ave between Main St and Water St, the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center, and the Green Free Library. The official hours for the Comic Con are 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and 12 PM to 5 PM Sunday.  Check the schedule for additional activities outside convention hours.

There is very limited charging available for electric cars. The Penn Wells Hotel has 2 EV Connect Charging Stations available for their customers. Beyond that are 4 Tesla supercharger stations at the Sheetz in Mansfield, approximately a 15 minute drive away.

There is a small amount of parking available around town. Free parking will be available at the Wellsboro Area High School. Shuttle buses will be running from the high school parking lot to Central Ave. The shuttle bus will run Saturday from 8:30 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM. The high school is approximately .75 miles away from Central Avenue. Directions to the Wellsboro High School are available below.

Wellsboro Comic Con has partnered with Alpha Omega certification services to provide many different CGC services. These services include a witness to verify signatures from Roy Thomas (at no additional charge), certificates of authenticity, comic book slabbing, trading card grading, and many other services with special CGC pricing during the comic con. Just to be clear, unlike most shows we are NOT charging extra for a witnessed signature for CGC certification.
